- Callum Hudson-Odoi:
The young Chelsea player was very impressive in the pre-season for the Blues given the lack of first team players Chelsea had because of the World Cup. Odoi did well to convince Maurizio Sarri which saw the Italian give the 17 year old a deserved start in the Community Shield match against Manchester City. It is unlikely that Odoi will get a lot of game time this season but it does not write off the potential he’s got. He’s quick, can dribble well and is a constant threat in and around the box and one would wish to see him play more this season.
- James Maddison:
The former Norwich City player was signed by Leicester this summer and it already looks like a great signing for the Foxes. Maddison scored 15 goals last season for Norwich and it is not just his goal scoring attributes but his maturity and awareness on and off the ball. He is known to take up beautiful positions and in the absence of Riyad Mahrez, the 21-year old is expected to do big things for the Foxes.
- Phil Foden:
Foden is among the hottest young prospect for England especially after the U-17 World Cup. He is adored very much by Pep Guardiola and is expected to be a big player for Manchester City in the near future. His ability on the ball is phenomenal. He can glide away with the ball and has a very impressive technique for a youngster of his age. He has already appeared twice for the reigning champions and with the injury of Kevin De Bruyne, he is expected to play more part for City this season.
- Ryan Sessegnon:
The Fulham player was much expected to make a move away to the Premier League even before Fulham earned promotion to the top level last season. The 18-year old provides a lot of energy on the left with his smart runs and beautiful ability to help in the attack. He will surely be a player to watch out for given the talent the youngster possesses.
- Ruben Neves:
The 21-year old Wolverhampton midfielder has already impressed plenty with his performance against Everton. At his age, Neves has already made 100 appearances in his professional career and looks as one of the best prospects for Portugal. His abilities in set-pieces are phenomenal and so is his play-making and goal scoring. There is a lot to come from the young Portuguese this summer and it is certainly a delight to be able to witness that.
