5. Angel Di Maria
The Argentine midfielder is a player of immense quality but ever since his departure from Real Madrid he has struggled with consistency. After a good early spell at Manchester United, he struggled with his form while it has not been the same at PSG, Di Maria has some challenges in front of him. With the arrival of Neymar and Mbappe, Di Maria has struggled to start on a regular basis and cement his place in the side. With the ageing factor already against him, he looks like a player who can soon be seen playing in China or elsewhere but surely not with PSG.
4. Javier Pastore
Another Argentine on this list is Javier Pastore. Pastore joined PSG from Palermo and was expected to deliver big. While Pastore is a quality player, he has struggled to consistently perform at the highest level. With glimpses of the qualities he possesses, he fails to carry it on a regular basis. While this has hampered his regular playing time, it is best for him and his career that he moves away from the French club.
3. Lucas Moura
Lucas was a person of interest for many of the top clubs in Europe when PSG managed to get his signature. The Brazilian winger was expected to become the next big thing in football but unfortunately, the player did not go on to develop to his best level. Moura has severely struggled with his efforts in the final third. This hasn’t helped his cause and now that PSG have signed some of the best talents in Europe, it is very unlikely that he will be seen at PSG post this January winter transfer window.
2. Kevin Trapp
The German was not that highly rated by the fans or the critics when he was signed by the French club and it is safe to say that Trapp hasn’t done very well to prove that otherwise. That being said, the German goalkeeper needs time to develop himself and get better but that isn’t going to happen at PSG for him given the options. It is likely that Trapp will return back to his homeland soon to improve his game and get more game time.
1. Hatem Ben Arfa
The Frenchman was once considered one of the brightest talents in football when he was at Lyon but somehow he got derailed with injuries and poor choices. At Nice, Ben Arfa looked sharp and happening which instigated PSG to sign him but as it has been with him over the years, Ben Arfa has struggled with his final ball. With PSG having signed Mbappe and Neymar, it is almost certain that the Frenchman time at the club is more than limited and it is best he joins a new club in January for his betterment.
