Is Premier league, the next stop for Danilo?
Danilo looks set to join Premier League giants Manchester City on a 30 to 35 million euro deal from Spanish giants Real Madrid after snubbing league champion Chelsea’s offer. The price tag will find Real Madrid break even with the amount they paid to acquire Danilo’s service from Porto a couple of seasons ago. Danilo would have been a great addition to an already fearsome Chelsea side as he would have bolstered their defenses. Pep Guardiola was keen on battling it out with their rivals, and it seems to have worked out in City’s favour. The price tag might be a little too steep seeing that they have already splashed 61 million euros on Kyle Walker, but it seems that with the ability to play both sides of defense the versatility of the player was too much to pass up on for the former Catalan coach. Danilo has failed to convince Santiago Bernabeu or his coach Zinedine Zidane who has always picked Dani Carvajal over him.
Diego Costa set to leave Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
Diego Costa, the prolific and outspoken Chelsea striker, is all set to leave the Premier League giants Chelsea in the summer transfer window with his previous club Atletico Madrid as favorites for signing him after a loan spell at AC Milan. Coach Antonio Conte on being asked about Costa in a press conference in Beijing said he does not want to talk about a player when they do not wish to stay. With Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata’s signing by Chelsea a couple of day’s back this comes as no surprise. Costa leaves Chelsea on a high after helping them bag the English Premier League last season during a controversial campaign.
Paris St. Germain to trigger Barca star Neymar’s 196million pound release clause
The 25-year-old Brazil striker Neymar has never been shy of rumours, the most recent of them being French league winners Paris St. Germain being ready to trigger Neymar’s £196 million release clause. Neymar Jr. who missed out on the league title with Barcelona last season have remained quiet on the situation. Although, his Barcelona teammate Javier Mascherano has insisted that all is fine and Neymar is preparing for their friendly against Juventus, which is set to take place in the USA. However, Spain and Brazil media has reported that Neymar Jr. is indeed interested in a move to France and that talks have taken place between his father who is also his manager and Paris St. Germaine officials.
Coutinho not for sale says Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp
Spanish outfit Barcelona have lodged an 80 million euro bid for Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho, 25 after identifying him as a viable replacement for Andres Iniesta who is 33 and in his last year of the contract with the Catalan giants. Jurgen Klopp Liverpool’s manager have however shot down any rumours regarding the move saying Coutinho is not for sale and never has been for any price. Liverpool’s record transfer was Luis Suarez to Barcelona in a 75 million pound deal, and Barcelona will try to improve on their offer if they are to land the Brazilian midfielder.
