Wayne Rooney hopes for a national team return

One of the biggest transfer news so far has been the dramatic return of Wayne Rooney to his former club Everton. This ex Manchester United player has re-joined Everton after 13 years. Rooney has played 559 matches for United and is also the highest goal scorer for United with 253 nets. Rooney is hoping that he delivers at Everton and gets a call back for the England national team. He was left out against Scotland and France. Wayne Rooney has not been on the field for England since last November. The record national goal scorer is hoping that manager Gary Southgate will give him another chance. For that, he is ready to take up new challenges. Ronald Koeman has a void to fill in as the club’s striker Romelu Lukaku is nearing to join Manchester United this season.

Romelu Lukaku to join Manchester United

The Everton striker has joined United this season for a five-year contract. The deal is done and dusted with Lukaku passing the medical exam and even joining up with the United team on their pre- season tour in the United States. Many sources claim the fee could rise to 90 million Euros. Jose Mourinho is pleased to have added Lukaku to his team. United beat Chelsea last minute to grab Lukaku from Everton. This decision came just a few hours after Wayne Rooney’s move to Everton from Manchester United.

Jose Mourinho sets his sights on Tottenham midfielder Eric Dier

Jose Mourinho seems to be on a spending spree this season. After a hefty transfer of Romelu Lukaku from Everton, he has turned his attention to Eric Dier. The offer is no less than 60 million Euros. Both Coach Jose Mourinho and Vice Chairman Ed Woodward want to acquire new talent to strengthen United’s team. Mourinho is prepared to go all out to obtain Dier in spite of the Spur’s vehemently refusing his earlier bids.
