- Mateo Kovacic:
The Croatian midfielder is a very useful player to have in the squad but is struggling pretty much to get game time at Real Madrid. It is understandable when Madrid are equipped with midfielders like Casemiro, Luka Modric and Toni Kroos that it is very difficult to find a place even for a talented player like Kovacic. In view of this frustration, Kovacic will be looking for a new club. Inter Milan, Juventus, Tottenham Hotspur are some of the clubs interested in Kovacic’s signature.
- Adrien Rabiot:
Rabiot was unlucky to miss out for France in the World Cup due to their star studded squad but there is no denial of the qualities he possesses. He has been a regular figure with Paris Saint Germain in France but it seems Barcelona want to sign him. With Iniesta leaving last season, Barcelona will be needing someone to fill in the void left by him and it seems the Catalan club find Rabiot the answer for that. We could very well see Rabiot at the Camp Nou this season.
- Sergej Milinkovic Savic:
Before the World Cup started Savic was very much in demand and it seemed that a lot of clubs were after his signature. The Lazio midfielder was phenomenal last season and it looked that a top European club would give everything to sign him. While that hasn’t happened till now in the window, the possibility of that happening cannot be ruled out. Real Madrid are one of the likely clubs to make a move for him as the Serbian would be looking to take a step up in his career.
- Thiago Alcantara:
It was shocking when Thiago Alcantara left Barcelona for Bayern Munich. Now that Andres Iniesta has left Barcelona, Barcelona are left with very limited options to fill up that place in the midfield. Alcantara is rumored to be allowed to leave Bayern and it seems both Barcelona and Manchester United are willing to sign the Spaniard. Given the option, Alcantara will prefer rejoining his old club and the move should work out well both for the club and the player.
- N’golo Kante:
Amid France’s triumph in the 2018 World Cup, it has been strongly rumored that Kante might be moving away from Chelsea this summer. Both Barcelona and PSG have showed great interest in the Frenchman but the former Leicester City midfielder has left it all on Chelsea to decide his future. Should PSG lose Rabiot to Barcelona, they will go all guns blazing to ensure they sign Kante.
